Company Background

Max’s is a homegrown food business which started in 1945 as a roadside café set up by Maximo Gimenez. He was a graduate of Stanford University so he easily made friends with several American soldiers who were then stationed in Quezon City. These troops convinced Maximo that he should open a restaurant where they could have food and drinks. This gave birth to Max’s s Restaurant which later became one of the famous dining destinations for Filipinos. The restaurant’s most sought-for fried chicken was developed by Maximo’s niece, Ruby, the restaurant’s very first cook.
